When Blake mentioned her love for the idea of doing a Grinch-themed family Christmas shoot, I was immediately on board. The Watsons are a family full of personality and warmth, and their home in Jefferson, GA, was the perfect setting to bring this festive vision to life. With a collection of Grinch-related items they already had on hand, we were able to create a fun and unique atmosphere that truly reflected their holiday spirit.
Their kids, who are some of the cutest you’ll ever meet, brought an extra layer of joy to the session. While getting them to sit still for a few full group shots was a bit of a challenge, it was all part of the fun. We embraced the natural chaos that comes with photographing young children, and it allowed us to capture some fantastic personality shots that showcased the kids’ playful energy and the family’s vibrant dynamic.
