The Kromingas are one of those families that you can’t help but love working with. When they suggested a family shoot at the Dallas Arboretum on a hot July day, I knew we were in for something special.
Despite the sweltering Texas heat, the Arboretum was a stunning backdrop, with its vibrant flowers and lush scenery offering endless opportunities for capturing the Kromingas’ dynamic spirit. The kids were completely enthralled by the beauty of the gardens, and their excitement was palpable as they explored each new corner. Since it was my first time at the Arboretum, I found myself seeing it through their eyes, experiencing the wonder and discovery right alongside them.
As we wandered through the gardens, the kids’ enthusiasm never waned, and their curiosity led to some of the most genuine and joyful moments I’ve captured. The combination of their playful energy and the Arboretum’s picturesque setting made for an incredible session. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we stumbled upon an ice cream truck. Watching the kids’ faces light up as they enjoyed their treats was a perfect ending to the session and led to some truly unforgettable photos.
