MEET ME

HI, I’M TREY

I’m all about capturing authentic moments.

Growing up I never really thought of myself as the out-going type. I have my moments, sure, but for the most part I’m content letting other people and things take center-stage. In stepping aside, I found out how good I was at observing. I catch the joy in someone’s eyes when they’re laughing with their best friend, or the look of excitement in a child when they’re handed an ice cream cone. I see the look of love in a father’s face as he watches his children play. That’s what I want to capture. I’d rather compose a photo around a moment, then create a moment with a pose.

If that interests you, let’s talk!

MY PHOTO-PHILOSOPHY

(my photolosophy)

My philosophy in taking documentary style photos centers around capturing genuine moments that evoke emotion. I believe in immersing myself in the event or scene to authentically portray what’s unfolding before me. I aim to create images that resonate with viewers on a human level.

Each photograph I take is not just a visual representation but a feeling of what it’s like to be there. By embracing the nuances and subtleties of the environment, my goal is to capture images that allow viewers to not just see the experience but truly feel the essence of the it. For you that might be the excitement of your event, the love you and your partner share, or the laughs that make us want to grab our bellies. That’s what I’m after.

FAQs

  • YES! I would love to come to where you are and capture some awesome photos. Travel fees apply so contact me with what you’re lookng for and we can discuss your project more!

  • I usually have a quick turnaround on images. In most cases I sit down to edit a shoot on the same day and if time allows, I deliver photos within 48 hours. That being said, shoot times, availability, and other factors may come into play so most of my event and portrait packages say delivery time is 1 week from the shoot (longer for weddings and larger shoots).

  • I never give out unedited raw photos (most photographers don’t either). I work very hard to create a unified style of my work and giving out unedited photos goes counter to that goal.
